It has been a good week and probably because it started out on a good note with homemade Cafe Rio-esque pork burritos. I would like to publicly thank my friend Kathryn for the recipe and the dinner invite! I even made them myself and now I can 'extra meat' my own plate at home at no charge. So delish!
There has also been lots of Rock Band. I have become a junky- or at least I want to. We have it in our work lounge and I have been sending 'invites' to my co-workers for 15 minute rock-out sessions. It is a great way to kill stress.
And lastly we have had that early faux spring weather. The February thaw. It has been fabulous and the SAD has faded. We had our kitchen door open a couple of nights this week and the smell of the fresh air in the house was amazing.
It's going to be a good weekened...what are you doing this weekend?

Update Schmupdate
Sheesh...I don't even know where to begin. It's been quite the busy month. Is it over yet? I'm ready for March I think. I will do my best to Readers Digest condense it. Then we can just move on.
My brother and his fiance came to visit from the big apple and of course my parents came down from Idaho to make the visit complete. It was fun to see all of them! We had some delicious dinners and my brother being quite the chef he is made us eggplant parmesan. It was fabulous and we were all so impressed.
Friends from Cali came to visit and we had to show them what a Utah winter has to offer. I highly recommend tubing off of Jeremy Ranch...it is a blast and my laughter was too great to contain- I almost peed my pants on top of the hill. Really. And I can't wait to go again. Then we sent the boys to snowmobile so my friend and I could do girl stuff- you know, shopping, microderm, and lunch. The usual girl stuff. There were also some movies...lots more food...stuff on the dvr...and more shopping.
Last week Rob was in Cali for a few days for work and I was a single mom. Hats off to single moms!!!! Noah was mr. grumpy pants all week and I am still recovering from all the whining. Thank goodness he is pretty much back to normal.
So there you have it. Now we are up to speed. Life is good. Busy. And is winter almost over yet or what??!!!

I crack myself up
Fridays are all about celebrating a hard week's work. Right? Hello- it's a day specifically devoted to kicking off the weekend.
We get to wear jeans (which reminds me I found a killer deal on some Laguna Beach jeans I can't wait to wear tomorrow), have an extra delish/long lunch with work friends, cut out a little early to begin the weekend, etc.
The Robster was asked to bring a 7 layer dip to work tomorrow. What kind of a loving wifey would I be if I didn't volunteer to whip up a 7 layer dip for her hubby? Of course I jumped at the chance.
This is my creation. Happy Friday honey!

Today is a holiday...
Happy Birthday to my little sis Gabey! It is her 31st birthday today...and to make it more exciting her little girl Lottie had her 2nd birthday yesterday. Go wish her a happy day here!
She is da shiz! Seriously, this girl rocks. She is full of sass and spunk. You never know what is going to come out of her mouth or what she is going to do. The party hasn't started until Gabe arrives! One of my favorite memories of Gabe was when the girls went backpacking in Canyonlands and we convinced her to bring her trusty guitar along for some campfire entertainment. It was pretty funny to see a huge guitar case strapped to her backpack...but she is a trooper and entertainment there was. I hope you have an awesome birthday little sis! You're the best. I love you!
