I heart complaining
Once again it is a gloomy spring day. Very original I know.
I am already scared to face next winter. I think I will have to have a winter home in a much warmer climate.
Next, I would like to discuss Walmart and the way they organize their store. I don't understand it. Usually we shop at Target, daily in fact. I kid you not. In an attempt of new scenery we decided to head to Walmart to pick up a few things. Rob needed some cereal so we ventured down the cereal/breakfast isle. Did you know that fruit snacks and Special K protein water are also found here? Am I the only one that thinks fruit snacks should be in the lunch section? And the protein water should definitely be in the beverage section.
No wonder I hate shopping at Walmart, it is damn nearly impossible to find anything there.

Hello St. George
After our quick drive to the palm tree oasis we pulled up to our hotel. It was our second choice since it was saving us a few bucks. The outdoor pool was visible from the parking lot and though it was nice it reminded us of a kiddie pool, like the ones you might have in your garage stored from last summer. Yeah, it was small. Minuscule if you will. While Rob was using the nice yet forgettable facilities I cancelled our reservations and we drove to our first choice hotel.

Hello weekend in Paradise!
After day one of swimming Noah tried to climb in this fountain a few times while we were enjoying some freshly mixed Coldstone.

On our way to breakfast on day two Noah insisted that we hit the pool first and was reluctant to put down the float.
Noah ready to make a big splash.
Thank you St. George for not putting the kibosh on a much needed relaxing family weekend. We were not let down.
An honorable mention goes out to In-n-Out. Thank you for opening three days prior to our arrival. We tried to eat there on Saturday night but it was busy, as in much busier than the In-n-Out in Vegas off the freeway. So we went back for lunch on our way home while everyone else was in church. It was perfect.
Too bad tomorrow is Monday.

Thursday Randomness
- Its raining and chilly but I don't care because my lawn looks super greenalicious.
- Noah can officially kiss now and it is hilarious. He is so proud. I wonder who he will kiss today?
- Anyone that knows me knows I love flip-flops and sandals. I pretty much hate having to wear socks/shoes. (And I think we can all agree it is totally hanus when a sock and sandal combo is spotted. Total faux-pas and they should have their feet cut off as punishment.) Anywho in an effort to break in Noah's new flip-flops he has been wearing them around the house in the evening this week. He is improving I must say, and feeling more confident than the little China-man walk he was doing at first. Hilarious!

Highlights of the week
Tuesday Hum, I don't think there was anything noteworthy to report. I believe I suffered from SAD this day due to unseasonably cold weather.
Wednesday We had a fab family night at Rumbi followed by a quick trip to the mall and the highlight was watching Noah play on the slide in the kiddie play area. He loved it. I didn't know he knew how to climb up and slide down by himself. He was a pro. After putting Noah to bed the adults watched Juno and laughed like crazy. Love that movie!
Thursday Rob and I ran to pick up Noah and I topped off my night by eating Red Mango.
Friday As I sit and type this I am watching Office Space and sipping Dr. Pepper with my co-workers in the lounge at work. Thank you new laptop, I totally heart you.
Let the weekend begin!

Hey, did anyone watch The Biggest Loser?
Love them.
Love the transformations.
Ali (below with her team-mate mom) was the winner and she looked so freaking amazing. It was so impressive. But anyways I loved her determination and mind-set. Her final two competators were saying they wanted to be the winner and Ali said she was going to be the winner. I loved how she used the visualization to acheive what she wanted and followed through with action. Very cool. Nevermind that I was snacking on junk food while I was watching.

Pop Quiz
a. Pop it in the washing machine and might as well make it a full load with all other dirty clothes.
b. Shake out the chunks into the toilet prior to washing and wash separately.
c. Shake out the chunks outside prior to washing and wash separately.
d. Shake out the chunks in your neighbors yard before washing and wash separately.
e. All answers except a.
Correct answer is e!!!!! Did you get it right?
Last night an hour an a half into Noah's peaceful slumber we heard the saddest little cry. Noah had thrown up all over himself and his bed. It was disgusting and doesn't need some nasty smelly description. I quickly gave Noah his second bath for the night, dressed him, and tucked him into my bed to chill out so I could deal with operation vomit. Here is a picture of him looking so sad yet cute all at the same time.
Little did I know Rob had successfully managed to start the clean up with answer 'a' above. I didn't realize our washing machine had a secret disposal button. Oh wait, it doesn't. You can only imagine what happened after the spin cycle. Uhm, yeah. This was revenge of the clean chunks. Yes I had to shake everything out and re-wash. What a freaking night. The good news is the little man settled down back into a clean linen fresh scent crib and slept through the night like a little angel.

Horray for shopping?
I recall on the invite there was something about a discount and a donation to a charity blah blah blah, but I really had no intention whatsoever to buy anything. At all. But I was shopping under the influence of freshly pumped air, a table with yummy fruits, cheese, crackers, and gourmet cup cakes. I had to try on at least an armful of clothes to show I was supportive of the cause, right? I mean what a girl to do? I ended up getting these three things. Just three things.

Well could you imagine my shock and horror when I found out they cost as much as, I don't know A CAR PAYMENT. I wasn't feeling so charitable when I arrived home. I think I will be making a return trip. But those shoes, they are so smokin hot and I LOVE THEM. I dont think those are headed back. They are MINE.
